Strong localization in defective carbon nanotubes: a recursive Greenʼs function study

The paper by Fabian appeared recently in New Journal of Physics [bibcite key=teichert2014strong]. Based on a very efficient linearly scaling algorithm Fabian was able to calculate the electron transport in defective CNTs of realistic size, i.e. up to a length of microns. The approach is very general and allows us to treat arbitrary arrangements of defect or functionalization sites along a CNT. Furthermore, we can derive simple analytical relations to estimate the conductivity of defective CNTs. We are very proud to see, that this paper was now selected to be included in IOP select.
